AATSP Long Island Chapter

The purpose of the Long Island Chapter, is to increase interest in the study of Spanish and Portuguese; to keep teachers informed of current trends in second language acquisition, meetings, and relevant cultural events; to promote friendship and professional growth among teachers of Spanish and Portuguese at all levels of instruction; and to provide opportunities for members to communicate with native speakers.  To that end, these pages are specifically designed for students, teachers, and all persons interested in the Spanish and Portuguese languages and the Hispanic culture.
